About Carlo
I graduated with honors in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and have completed postgraduate studies at the following universities:
- California State University at Los Angeles (Cal State LA)
- University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA)
- Stanford University
- Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government
I have also completed two Master’s degrees, one in Public Administration and Public Policy from the Tec de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE, Pan-American Institute of Business Administration).
I worked at American Express Company, the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and the Bancomext office in Los Angeles.
I worked at USANA (NYSE: USNA), one of the 20 largest Multi-Level Marketing companies in the world, in various positions, starting as a call center executive, then becoming Director of Marketing and Communications and later serving as Managing Director of USANA Mexico. In 2013, I was appointed USANA’s Vice President for Latin America, the youngest executive ever in this position.
In addition, I was named President of the Mexican Direct Selling Association for the 2018-2019 term, where I had the honor of representing at a national level an industry that is transactional but based on human relationships. I have participated in conferences at the Anahuac University and at IPADE, speaking about the challenges, benefits and nature of the Direct Selling industry.
I consider myself a passionate and life-long learner on topics such as strategy, leadership, sales, teamwork and personal development leading to the growth and attainment of human potential, both personal and professional.
